About the Owner

Hello there. My name is Wendy, and I own and operate North Dallas Pet Sitters along with my faithful canine Rosie and her pet cat Emmie. I grew up in Ft. Worth and have lived just about everywhere else before finally settling here in Dallas. My education is in sociology and medicine, though I have worked most recently as a freelance editor and writer for on-line computer games. My undying love and respect for animals has finally helped me find my true path, however, and rescued me from a behind-the-computer existence.

My animals are my children, and I have always felt a certain kinship with our furry and feathered co-habitants on this green earth. We have an awesome responsibility to them when we take them into our homes, a responsibility that does not wane in the face of vacations or long hours.
